Game Day- Hogberg Makes NHL Debut vs. Capitals

The bad news is the Ottawa Senators lost last night. The bad news is it’s probably going to happen again tonight.

Less than 24 hours after another embarrassing loss, this time at the hands of the New York Islanders, the Senators return home to face the defending Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals.

Thomas Chabot is out for three weeks with an upper-body injury. Christian Jaros is out four weeks with a broken finger. Magnus Paajarvi is out for tonight. Craig Anderson and Justin Falk are both still dealing with concussion issues.

And well, I think we’re all feeling a little bit banged up these days.

Christian Wolanin, Stefan Elliott and Jack Rodewald were all recalled from Belleville. No morning skate for the Sens today so line combinations are yet to be determined. But rest assured, you will hate them.

Here is a randomly generated line up we can freak out about till game time.

Tkachuk-White-Stone
Smith-Duchene-Dzingel
Boedker-Tierney-Ryan
Rodewald-Paul-Pyatt

Lajoie-DeMelo
Harpur-Ceci
Borowiecki-Elliott
Wolanin

Marcus Hogberg makes the first start of his NHL career. Puck drop is scheduled for just after 7:00 PM which means you have to wait about an hour before you can switch to the Canada game.

The game is available on Sportsnet360 and City TV.

I think the Head2Head table is making the Senators bad. So, no Head2Head table.
