When the Senators traded for and then signed Linus Ullmark, the hope was that they had in a series of moves, removed a years long curse that has hung over the organization.

The Sens continue Life without Linus, when they host New Jersey Devils on Thursday night in Ottawa.
Both Artem Zub and Ridly Greig are expected to miss a bit of time which means an early season depth test for the Senators. Jacob Bernard Docker draws in on the blueline while the red hot Zack MacEwen gets a longer look on the fourth line.
Just an optional skate for the Senators tonight but here’s how Travis Green is likely to line ’em up.

Puck drop is scheduled for 7:08 PM at the Corel Centre in Kanata, Ontario. It’s throwback Thursday so the game is available on the NewRO, Team 1200 and on dial-up internet connections all across the Ottawa region.
