Editor’s Note – As is tradition this time of year, every observation needs to be prefaced with the qualifier “I know it’s preseason but…”. Everyone knows that it’s preseason but you need to say it anyway, otherwise people think you’re nuts. Anyway, I know it’s preseason but it looks like the Ottawa Senators may never lose and at the same time, that the Toronto Maple Leafs may never win. While we wait for today’s Game Day post, it’s time for another edition of Norah’s Notes. Nine-year old Norah reflects on the recent change in Ownership and what she’s hoping to see from Michael Andlauer.
Hi, I’m back.
So, about the new owner Michael Andlauer. I think the key things you should have in an owner are…
-A balance between being strict (so that your team is in shape and ready to go when there’s a game) and being fun/nice (so that the team likes you and you can get to know them).
-You want him to have money, so the players get paid.
-To show up to some games, that will also help with knowing what he needs to change so that you’re not making decisions based on nothing.
-Hire and fire the right people to help your team. It’s important for them to have new ideas.
But how about that game on Sunday?!
My sister and dad went when I was at my friend’s chalet. They bought like the whole gift shop.
I feel good about this season. Maybe another hat trick plus 2 winning streak will come along.
