The NHL’s waiver wire has led to some harrowing moments for Sens fans this week.
A couple days after losing 2019 first-round pick Lassi Thomson to the Anaheim Ducks, we now had to sweat it out a bit with both Jacob Bernard-Docker and Egor Sokolov on waivers.
The good news is, they both cleared.
Exhale.
While this doesn’t have an immediate impact on the NHL roster, it’s certainly good news for the team’s overall depth and a huge relief for the team in Belleville, where both Sokolov and Bernard-Docker are expected to play key roles.
