On Day One of the NHL’s Board of Governors meetings, Michael Andlauer came out swinging. And he has one of the league’s biggest markets as his target.
This is a bold strategy by Andlauer.
He could have easily just let this slide, hoping that people would forget about the story entirely. This accusation is the exact opposite of that approach. Andlauer knows that this is the kind of thing that would be impossible to prove but it’s clear that the Senators are frustrated with the persistent and entirely baseless rumours.
For what it’s worth, the Rangers have already responded.
