A lot of times in the National Hockey League, trades come out of nowhere. General Managers call each other up and suddenly impact players are changing teams. Those are the kind of deals that you really can’t prepare for and in some ways, it’s a little easier that way.
But it never seems to happen that way for the Senators. Heatley. Spezza. And now the goalie trade. Obviously the circumstances are way different this time around with the Senators finally dealing from a position of strength but for fans, it’s that same agonizing wait. Where you know that a deal is coming but you have no idea when. And really, there’s only one thing you can do…

Just like we did with the Jason Spezza trade last summer, I think we can make a fun little contest out of this impending goalie trade.

- Which goalie will be traded?
- Where will he be traded?
- Details of the trade (This must include ALL players/prospects and draft picks involved in the deal, with the round and year of the draft pick included)
- On what date will the goalie be traded
