With all the controversy around “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” this holiday season, I thought I’d update it.
Then I thought about Boucher subconsciously hearing the voice of the SensChirp comment section as he mulls his lines:
Who should we start today? (Brady with Stone and White)
Which line should I play? (Brady with Stone and White)
This road trip has been (Been hoping we might win)
Not very nice. (If you’d just follow fan’s advice)
Our zone exits make me worry. (Someone tell Ceci to hurry)
The Smith line can’t shut the door. (We need a line that will score)
We give up shots in a flurry. (The stats sheet make me blurry)
Maybe just another shift more. (It’s about time we’re losing by four)
The fanbase might think (Brady looks mad out there)
With Duchene out we’ll stink. (So much like his dad out there)
I wish I knew how (Stone is a star right now)
To break this spell. (I’d say that White is playing well)
I ought to say no, no, no sir. (Now the game’s getting closer)
At least I should send out Pyatt. (What’s the sense in something like that?)
I realize now! (Yeah baby send them out!)

Hey, where’s Rodewald? (Brady with Stone and White)
Tierney seems fine. (You can hear me, right?)
Maybe Boedker and Ryan? (Brady with Stone and White!!!!)
Our GM will be suspicious. (Tkachuk’s forecheck is so vicious)
The owner will be there in his bar. (White’s passing really has come far)
The media can be fictitious. (Why are you superstitious?)
Maybe just a couple shifts more. (Pretty soon they’re going to score)
One more and we’re tied. (Look at White’s speed out there)
I’m trying to decide. (Stone with a steal out there)
They’ve really been grand. (Brady sure has the hot hand)
But don’t you see? (Boucher how can you do this to me?)
There’s bound to be talk tomorrow. (Save the fans lifelong sorrow)
At least I can say that we tried. (Stone’s last goal has us tied)
They really should stay. (Chabot starting a breakout)
