Game Day – Senators Look to Bounce Back in Game 2

A wake-up call of sorts, perhaps.

If anyone thought things were going to come easy against the Carolina Hurricanes, Game 1 served as a reminder just how good the Hurricanes really are. It’s not that they dominated because they really didn’t but gosh, they don’t give you much. In the end, a couple bounces made the difference in the hockey game but it’s clear why the Canes are the top team in the Conference.

The Ottawa Senators look to find another gear as they visit Carolina for Game 2 tonight.

We’ll find out the lineup later this morning. Artem Zub left early in Game 1 and the Senators aren’t saying much about his status. Game-time decision tonight. Seems like a longshot though. Tyler Kleven skated in a regular jersey today but won’t play.

To be confirmed…

Batherson-Stutzle-Giroux
Tkachuk-Cozens-Greig
Cousins-Pinto-Amadio
Foegele-Eller-Zetterlund

Sanderson-Matinpalo
Chabot-Spence
Gilbert-Thomson
Kleven-Yakemchuk

Linus Ullmark starts.

Puck drop is set for 7:30 PM. Sportsnet, CBC, TVA Sports, TSN1200 and 104.7 FM. Streams are an option too.

HEAD2HEAD table was banged up in Game 1 and is being given a full day off.
