Looking ahead at the schedule for the month of April, it was clear this homestand was going to be a big one.
Top teams all lined up in a row and with the Sens in desperate need of points. So far, they’ve showed up in spectacular fashion. In their last three wins, the Ottawa Senators have knocked off the first, second and third ranked teams in the Eastern Conference and by a total score of 16-6. A statement in every possible way.
The Ottawa Senators will look to close out their homestand on a high note as they host the Florida Panthers.
Under normal circumstances, you might worry about a letdown of some kind here but that’s not an option for the Senators. They just got embarrassed by these same Panthers a couple weeks ago and they desperately need these points. No excuses.
Thomas Chabot, yes THAT Thomas Chabot, is ready to return. Insane.

Puck shall drop at 7:08 PM. The usual broadcast options are available (TSN5, TSN1200, 104.7 FM, Pirates). But again, the best option is heading down to the CTC to get weird with 18,000 of your closest friends.
A tidy lil overview of the matchup can be viewed below.
