There are no words.
There are no words needed to describe last night’s near flawless defensive performance in New York. There are no words needed to describe the run of bad luck the Senators are experiencing on defence. There are no words needed to describe the significance of tonight’s game.
There are moments over the course of a long year where the moment speaks for itself and that’s where we find ourselves with just 12 games remaining in the regular season. The Ottawa Senators visit the Red Wings on Tuesday night in Detroit.
This……this is a big one.
No Game Day skate obviously on the back to back but we do know there are going to be changes. Both Thomas Chabot and Lassi Thomson are out for Ottawa. Carter Yakemchuk and Jorian Donovan have both been recalled and both will suit up tonight. In the biggest game of the year. If one of them can’t go due to the curse that currently hangs over the blueline, I’m pretty sure Chris Phillips is the next man up.
A guess at how Travis Green might line ’em up although expecting all sorts of mixing and matching on the back end.
