Game Day – Senators Host Ducks on Saturday Afternoon

Thanks to a bit of help on the out-of-town scoreboard, Wednesday’s game against the Montreal Canadiens can be officially stricken from your heart and mind. You’re welcome.

With just 18 games left in the season, the Sens are five points back of a playoff spot. They have games in hand on most AND some of the teams they are chasing are starting to wobble a little bit. There is a path there but it requires a whole lot of winning.

The Ottawa Senators host the Anaheim Ducks on a Saturday afternoon at The Tire.

Another hit to the Sens blueline as Nick Jensen is considered day to day with some sort of lower body injury. Jensen has played much better of later so it’s another big loss for a team already without Jake Sanderson. Dennis Gilbert is here and presumably will step in this afternoon. No morning skate so a best guess for now.

Linus Ullmark and James Reimer will split the starts this weekend. No real preference on who takes the lead.

Puck is dropping soon so like, get your shit together. The game is on TSN5 and TVA Sports. Radio calls on TSN1200 and 104. FM. Early rising internet pirates will bring the streams.

The HEAD2HEAD table will provide a closer look at how the Sens match up against a team I can never completely forgive.
