For the first time in what feels like an eternity, the Ottawa Senators are coming home.
They capped off the seven-game road trip with a big ol’ COSTCO HOT DOG sized win over the Montreal Canadiens on Tuesday night and in the process, finished the trip with a more than sufficient 4-3-0 record. What looked like it had the potential to be a season derailing trip was anything but. And now they return home feeling damn good about where they stand.
The Ottawa Senators host the New York Rangers on Thursday night at The Tire.
Couple guys missing from the morning skate including Artem Zub and Lars Eller. Stephen Halliday is back up from Belleville and Dennis Gilbert slides in on that third pairing. MacDermid sits and Cousins returns.
This is how Travis Green lined them up this AM.
