Game Day- Sens and Lightning at SBP

The Ottawa Senators play the second game in a five game homestand this afternoon when they play host to Steven Stamkos and the Tampa Bay Lightning.

The Sens are coming off a heartbreaking last minute loss to the Boston Bruins and will be looking to get back on track with the lowly Lightning in town.  Tampa Bay's last game was a 4-2 set back against the Leafs on Wednesday night.

Despite icing a line up that includes one of the best players in the NHL in Steven Stamkos, it has been an up and down season for the Bolts. With just 18 games left to play, Tampa Bay sits in 13th in the Eastern Conference, five points back of the 8th place Hurricanes. They'll need to go on a heck of a run to find their way back into the playoff picture in the East.

Paul MacLean spoke with the media this morning and indicated that Dave Dziurzynski will draw into the line up for the first time since suffering a concussion in a fight with Leafs tough guy Fraser McLaren. Kaspars Daugavins comes out of the line up.

Both Methot and Gonchar are considered game time decisions but it certainly sounds like they'll play.
