Calder Cup Quest Continues in Bingo

After stealing the first two games of the series on enemy turf, the Binghamton Senators return home for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals, tonight at the Broome Country Veterans Memorial Arena.

The puck drops at 7:05.

The Sens will make one change from their Game 2 line up. Patrick Wiercioch took the morning skate and will dress. Bobby Raymond comes out to make room. No surprises in goal either as Robin Lehner will make the start.

It will be a short turnaround for both teams as Game 4 is scheduled to go tomorrow night in Bingo.

A handful of SensChirp readers will be watching the next two games very closely as we wait to find out if Game 5 will even be necessary. The next road trip to Bingo is scheduled to leave on Saturday afternoon but if the BSens take the next two we will have to reschedule for the Finals.

To anyone that has already signed up, refunds will be issued should the game not be required. The refund process is actually quite simple so I encourage others to sign up just in case. Still a few spots open so be sure to book your spot before it sells out.

Still early in the planning stages but I’m working on what will be the Second Annual SensChirp Duck Hunt. It went pretty well last summer so I definitely plan on doing something similar over the course of the off season.

I think sometime after July 1 would make the most sense because that is when we tend to completely dry up in terms of Sens news. Keep an eye on the site for details.
