Senators Reveal Outdoor Jersey

The 2017 NHL100 Classic, Ottawa’s version of the outdoor game, is set for December 16th, 2017.

It will be the second time the Ottawa Senators have participated in an outdoor game and the first one here in the Nation’s Capital.

While the game is now just a little more than a month away, it feels like there isn’t a whole lot of talk about the event. Not yet anyway.  Tickets are still available for the game on TicketMaster (for around $200 plus fees) and the cheapest tickets on StubHub seem to be going for the same price.  And that’s to sit here.

After a long day of waiting, Adidas finally released the uniforms late this afternoon and as you’d might expect, they were met with mixed reviews.

When it comes to designing a jersey, it’s becoming abundantly clear that’s nearly impossible to come up with a design that pleases everyone.  And that’s part of what made the original heritage look so unique- just about everyone loved it.

Obviously that’s not the case with this latest look.

While the original picture released by the league probably didn’t do it justice, some of the images shared by people that have already bought the jersey (including Sens97), look pretty sharp.
