Game Day- The BIGGEST Game of the Year

This is it, folks. This is what we’ve been training for all season.

Those early season games when we needed to snap a losing streak; those games out West when playoff hopes were dwindling; all those must-wins in the last month of the season; and that season ending game in Philadelphia. It’s all been preparing us for this game. That’s right. This time I really mean it. It’s finally here…

The Biggest Game of the Year.

Until the next one hopefully. The Ottawa Senators look to keep their season alive tonight when they play Game 4 of their opening round series against the Montreal Canadiens. There’s no way this series should be 3-0 right now but it is and now the Sens have to scratch and claw their way back into this thing.  Normally, the idea of coming back from three games down seems impossible b‎ut for the last two months, we’ve watched this team do the unthinkable, time and time again. Another four game winning streak honestly feels like something they can pull off.

But it has to start with a win tonight.

Dave Cameron spoke with the media yesterday and indicated he’ll make one change to his lineup. David Legwand has struggled in a fourth line role during this series and is expected to be a scratch. Zack Smith will take his place. Based on yesterday’s practice lines, it looks like everything else stays the same. We’ll wait till we have confirmation from the Coach this morning but here’s how the Senators are expected to line up for this one.

MacArthur-Turris-Stone
Michalek-Zibanejad-Ryan
Condra-Pageau-Lazar
Hoffman-Smith-Neil
McEachern-Bonk-Alfredsson

Methot-Karlsson
Wiercioch-Ceci
Borowiecki-Gryba

The Coach would not confirm it yesterday but it certainly sounds like he’s leaning towards starting Craig Anderson for this one. Puck drop is scheduled for just after 7:00 PM.

I’ll leave you with this terrific video from @Capital_Gains65. If you’re not already following him on Twitter, you should be.

GO SENS GO!
