Game Day- Struggling Senators Host Stars

After another mess of a performance on Friday night, the Ottawa Senators look to right the ship against Jamie Benn and the rest of the Dallas Stars.

The effort the Senators put in on Friday night was nowhere near good enough and Paul MacLean and his staff know it.  Twice they let two goals leads slip away and the team just gave up far too many chances in their own end.

This afternoon marks the return of veteran defenceman Sergei Gonchar, as he plays his first game back in Ottawa since being dealt to Dallas during the off season.  While  Gonchar has struggled at times in Dallas, the Senators have certainly felt his departure.  He was always a strong presence on the Sens blueline and had a sort of calming influence on the other defenceman.  They have certainly missed that through the first 13 games of this season.

A little different look for the Senators with Mark Borowiecki and Matt Kassian both expected to be in the line up. Erik Condra will miss this one with what the team is calling a lower body injury

Here is how the Senators are expected to line up.

MacArthur-Turris-Ryan
Michalek-Smith-Zibanejad
Conacher-Spezza-Neil
Kassian-Grant-Greening

Cowen-Karlsson
Phillips-Wiercioch
Borowiecki-Methot

Craig Anderson gets the start in the Ottawa goal.  Puck drop at the Canadian Tire Centre is set for just after 1:00 PM.

  • aegiszx

It only took 13 games for Palrus to sit Cowen… It couldnt have come at a better time. BoroCop cant be any worse than Cowen at this point.

    • SensChirp

That’s a mistake on my part. Looks like Cowen will be in and likely start on a pair with Erik Karlsson. Wiercioch seems to be the odd man out.

      • lbernier

honestly Cowen has had his moments like the rest of the defenseman but he has not been really horrible i think Cowen will excel with Karlsson tonight, he will be able to play more of the game he did in the OHL

        • Millennium

Have you been watching some different version of the Senators? Cowen has been HORRIBLE all season. Easily the worst player on the team right now.

          • Sensnation

Cowen’s been paired with the most inexperienced or over the hill partners, yet somehow all the blame falls on him. Karlsson has been way worse defensively than Cowen to this point imo!

          • Millennium

The blame that falls on Cowen is for his own play. Not his stats, not his line’s play, not anything beyond what he does and fails to do on the ice. He has been consistently terrible this year. Watching him is like watching Midget hockey. He doesn’t backcheck, he doesn’t take his man, he is careless with his penalties.

I want him to be great, but he isn’t right now, and that’s all on him.

          • lbernier

I would actually say Chris Neil has been the worse player for us right now he has been a turnover machine…..and our worse defenseman have been Chris Phillips and Patrick Weirchoich both have been feathers in front of the net!

        • Jacques

Cowen played in the WHL by the way? captain of the Spokane chiefs! And he has been horrible.

          • lbernier

yes I meant to say CHL and I know he played for the chiefs

    • Tooks

Depends, do you consider scoring an own goal worse?

  • boom

    Hey Chirp,

do you think they will call Hoffman up to take Condra’s place? He’s playing well down in Bingo, By the way, Pageau with 4 points last night, eh?

    He was +4 too….

    • Sensnation

Can’t sit Condra now, he’s on fire! ;) Play him hurt, he’s our next Gretzky!

  • yannrock

    Kassian? Really?

  • PraiseAlfie11

Cowen and karlsson together? I’m calling a new shots against record!

    • Robert Cyr

This should be a good test for Cowen, as he can focus on his shutdown style
of defense, while Karlsson moves puck up the ice and makes plays !

      Snoopy Senior

      • PraiseAlfie11

Except Cowen has decided that playing D requires skating away from a play to nail someone. I can’t even count the amount of times I have seen him go way out of position to hit someone.

Add that to EK’s pinching in and that is why I said what I did. Sens need a defense first attitude from everyone. Better to win 2-1 than lose 6-5, yes?

  • Mexican Baby Jesus

Starting our second best goalie eh

  • HarvardYaleAndPrincetonMan

soooooo – Joltin’ Joe is on waivers ?

    • Mexican Baby Jesus

      Source? Or are you foreshadowing

  • Millennium

Spezza still with Neil, Cowen still not being scratched, and Kassian in the lineup….I don’t see good things coming from this.

  • aegiszx

30+ shots on net this afternoon. Any takers? I’m calling 35-40…

    • PraiseAlfie11

      Over/under is 38 shots. I bet over.

  • SuckitPhaneuf

Why can’t Maclean just set lines and let them play together to build chemistry?

Honestly, Spezza on the third line, Kassian playing while Hoffman and Pageau play in the AHL

After watching the Edmonton game last night, and seeing upper management’s faces, I think they would do a Anderson for Eberle trade-and we should be all over that.

  • Sensnation

Come on chirp, Gonchar never calmed anyone else down on D. The guy was always a risky proposition defensively, but his offensive contributions were nice. Calming presence though, definitely not!

  • jasonontheoldsenschirp

Paul Maclean continues to have no clue as to what to do with the talent on this hockey team.

    • PraiseAlfie11

I think the players aren’t executing the plan.

      • jasonontheoldsenschirp

Because he isn’t giving them a chance to succeed.

        • Millennium

The players have every chance to succeed. The current lines are a trainwreck, but we’re only here because the players failed to make anything happen with what looked to be better lines. While I don’t understand or agree with Maclean’s lines right now, there is no way you can place the blame on him alone. The players on the ice have failed thus far to play well, and thats on them.

          • jasonontheoldsenschirp

True, but it’s still more on Mac. If they performed poorly with the good lines, then there’s zero chance with the current ones. Give the guys time. There are new players on the team and they’re still building chemistry. Changing the lines every single game and every shift is never going to help. He needs to be patient.

          • jasonontheoldsenschirp

I feel as if Mac feels the pressure to succeed right away with the moves in the offseason, the loss of Alfie, and the success of last season, that he actually forgets the main reason why they’ve done so well under him as head coach… PATIENCE!

          • Kevin Jaeggin

            You fail to understand…

    • HarvardYaleAndPrincetonMan

Fire MacLean – Fire Murray – Trade Spezza

      • Kevin Jaeggin

        You just plain suck

  • SuckitPhaneuf

    michalek spezza macarthur
    ryan turris zibenejad
    pageau eberle conacher
    neil smith greening
    condra

  • jasonontheoldsenschirp

    Wiercioch is playing.

  • Senut

    quick question
my streams often look murky and slow
I’m running windows 8 less than a year old
I’m I watching In HD or do I need the plug in
    that keeps popping up
I almost never download pop up shit

    • Conans River

Streaming sports on the internet all ways looks choppy and slow regarlless of your connection. Do not download anything from those sites that stream. If you have not yet got yourself a copy of malwarebytes then its time to do so.

  • jasonontheoldsenschirp

The turris line is so money.

  • hq8

man feel bad for spezza, looks like his assignment is to just dump and chase lol

turris, ryan, macarthur, karlsson, zibanejad the only players on the sens showing any semblance of urgency anywhere on the ice.

    • jasonontheoldsenschirp

I feel horrible for our captain. It’s almost embarrassing. I would feel so unappreciated. Don’t know why Mac is doing this to such a skilled player. What a complete waste of opportunity

      • hq8

i think in part it has to do with spezza himself. no matter what people say that he is high-risk high reward and all that, he just has been defensively irresponsible quite frankly and it offsets his offensive production badly. on top of that he is the captain. i think it becomes unacceptable when the captain becomes the example of defensive no-nos. and example was the eberle and nugent hopkins goals against.
this line combo forces spezza himself to be defensively more responsible.

        • jasonontheoldsenschirp

But Spezz hasn’t been that bad defensively tho. This change doesn’t really teach him anything.

          • hq8

are you serious. did you see that pass in the defensive zone that turned into an a-grade chance against? thats not the first time this season either.

he hasnt beed defensively responsible like he needs to be:
            1. as captain of this team
            2. as an elite centreman in this league
            3. as a guy with team canada aspirations – right now if im yzerman, spezza is not on my list for sure. the competition for his type of player around the league is ruthless and cutthroat and the number of people ahead of him are too many.
            4. as a guy playing in maclean’s system

in terms of defensive errors, he is one of the worst on the team. i can understand being risky to get the offensive outcomes we all want, but some of the errors are very un-captain like.

      • Jacques

He has to work hard to get out of his predicament,I don’t feel sorry for him, he isn’t skating. Plain and simple.

  • Rizzo

Spezza on the 3rd line. Give me a break.

  • Senut

    `18 min is 3rd line ?

    • jasonontheoldsenschirp

Playing with Chris Neil, is third line. It’s 18 useless minutes.

      • Senut

        hahaha thats funny
        lets just watch coach

  • MikeS

Just got home, how are they playing?

    • Mat

      Same old same old….

  • Jacques

Spezza making passes to the other team now.It won’t get you points jason.

  • Jacques

Cowen what a stupid pinch, this guy has Mush for brains! He shouldn’t be allowed to pinch at all. Geez.

  • mr.slapshot

    Cowen aint the brightest

  • MikeS

cowen bad pinch, but andy has to have that…

  • Mike

So who gets traded if this poor play continues?

  • Millennium

As I was saying, Cowen is a liability. 2 plays in a row he just doesn’t skate, makes bad decisions, and is generally lazy

  • Mat

The deal with dumping and chasing is that you have to retrieve the puck. We suck at that and force our D to pinch support. And we suck at that too and end up giving tons of odd man rushes…. #needanewplan

  • mr.slapshot

On pace for 60 shots against!

  • hq8

dont get why they dont sit cowen for a game already. imo gryba and corvo both better than him to start this season. should atleast sit Cowen and Phillips both for a game ATLEAST. HAS TO BE. STARS ARE NOT THAT GOOD.

  • Guest

Trade Jared Cowen, what if he likes this for the rest of his hockey career?? he’s not an offensive dmen, he always pinches and we always get scored on.. sick and tired of it.

    • MikeS

What if he fixes his game and reaches his potential, how mad would you be he was traded then?

      • aegiszx

See that’s the thing. Fans seem to forget that not every player works in every system. Turris sucked in Phoenix… Andy sucked in Chicago… Methot wasn’t relied on in Columbus. Every player is different…

        • MikeS

I bet you phoenix/columbus wishes they could reverse those trades

  • aegiszx

They better come out flying in the second period… I get that it’s an afternoon game but sheesh…

    • Mat

How is that an excuse for slacking?

      • Kinger

They are “professional’s” it’s their job to show up and play no matter what time it is…

  • http://bftc-ehm.forumotion.com/ argun31

We need a vet dmen, Girardi/Coburn, to name a few..

    • Kinger

I would trade Cowen and Greening for Girardi and a 2nd in a heartbeat

  • hq8

whats going to give guys whats going to give.

sens management and coaching needs to grow a pair. they need to sit atleast cowen and phillips. unless there is a disconnect between management-to-coaching-to-players, it should be a no-brainer.

they are going to dump this season by end of november if they dont take ANY action at all right now. this is just ridiculous.

also, andy is clearly nowhere close to his own starter level. that is a no-brainer shot that he let through.

everything is falling apart sens fans, everything. every player that was supposed to be part of the sens strengths this season is now becoming a weakness. Spezza was not supposed to be centering Neil and Conacher. Cowen is now a bonafide liability on the ice, that was not an issue just two months ago when he signed that contract. Andy was supposed to be lights out this year like last. the bottom 6 is now basically all a mush which cant be trusted.

  • Kielbasa

Another great start by this hard-fighting team. Outshot again. 19 shots against after 1. Stellar defensive appearances by Jared “pinch’n miss” Cowen and “have you seen my walker” Phillips. Let’s see if we can hit 70 shots against and really hang our goaltender out to dry.

PM. You’ve lost this team. They don’t give a damn.

  • Senut

its not just bad defense that allows that many shots
its 9 or 10 rebounds which doubles the shots
Lehner is a rebound machine and this year
Anderson isn’t far behind on that list

    just sayin

  • MikeS

Has a jack adams winner ever been fired the next year?

  • karlssens

Maclean is not the problem.. The problem is the lack of talent on the team, plain and simple. Until our “owner” let’s us get a top 4 d man and another top 6 fwd, this team will be average at best.

Last year players battles for jobs, played desperate, and played as a team. This year, they don’t think they need to play hard enough.

    It’s bullshit.

    • MikeS

This team should not be giving up 20 shot periods to Dallas or the Isles…..That is not a top 4 d problem, also they are a high scoring team, another top 6 is really not necessary

    • aegiszx

Look up how much home grown talent is on the Hawks roster right now…12 players currently drafted by the organization skating (has been that way since 08′ 09′). Pittsburgh went out and grabbed every top 4 top 6 they could find last trade deadline… and they weren’t the ones to raise Lord Stanley in June. It comes down to playing a TEAM game like they did last year if they want to be successful.

      • MikeS

I would argue playing 6 months with the team is easier to become a team then 1.5 months though

        • aegiszx

Yeah of course, that’s true. Cant expect a player to come in, no matter how talented they are, and adapt to a new system within a matter of weeks.

      • Millennium

Thats a bit disingenuous when you look at Chicago’s top 4 D. Regardless of where they came from, they are good.

        • aegiszx

Their top 4 were drafted by the organization… except Leddy was drafted by Minny but his first NHL season was with the Hawks so he never played a single game with the Wild. And yes, they are good. But most of those guys were very late draft picks… and developed properly. None of those guys were rushed.

          • Millennium

My point is that they have a good top 4. We do not. Either we wait several years for our farm to produce something, or we have to look outside. I understand the value of raising your own talent rather than trying to buy a cup, but at a certain point, the team just needs to improve.

  • SENSible

PMac being very stubborn leaving Spezza with Neil and Conacher. Hopefully he will change the lines up in the 2nd. Current lines clearly not working except for the Turris line.

  • Millennium

Cowen and Philips # 2 and 3 in icetime behind Karlsson that period. No surprise the shots against were 19.

  • MikeS

    This team just doesnt care…

  • jasonontheoldsenschirp

We love giving up firsts…. First goal for Whitney, first NHL goal for Nichuchkin…

  • hq8

ok, im in the trade andy camp now. wow, that was stoppable.

    • Mat

He’s brutal. This is his M.O.. One good year, one horrible year. I don’t get it, Lehner is playing fine, give him 70% of the starts..

      • hq8

i wouldnt go so far, but definitely lehner deserves the starts.

        • Mat

If the deal is the better players play, than Lehner should have the crease over Anderson. That rule has to apply to everyone.

  • Jacques

Andy,Cowen,Conacher for Matthias,Bjugstad, and Kulikov come on Murray. Let Lawson back up Lehner he’s been lights out in the AHL for his second year now. Kulikov has always had a good plus minus On a lousy team in Florida. he’ll bring more puck possession.

    Something has to be done.

  • karlssens

There is def a trade coming now…

  • aegiszx

There will probably be a trade coming soon… Hopefully it’s not one we regret…

  • MikeS

Well atleast neil was trying to make something happen there….most passion anyone has shown in their play tonight

  • hq8

haha the last remaining ritual: chris neil with the penalty.

if any of you have other plans for sunday afternoon, better start now.

  • jasonontheoldsenschirp

    Chris Neil is an idiot.

  • Jacques

Oh and I forgot then you trade Spezza to Edmonton for Eberle. Lol

    • Mexican Baby Jesus

Spezza is much better than Eberle

      • Jacques

Ha Come on. Eberle is 8 years younger with no wonky back. And he plays in his own end. Trade would help both teams they need a 3 rd line oops I mean a first line center.

  • MikeS

If we make a trdae now all our players are worth 0, they all playing like crap…..

  • Jacques

    MacArthur-TUrris-Ryan
    Milo-Zibby-Eberle
    Hoffman-Matthias-Bjugstad
    Greening-Smith-Neil

    • Jacques

Than you move Milo at the trade deadline.

  • MikeS

hopefully boro hit can wake ppl up

  • hq8

do you guys agree that andy is not starter level anymore. both goals stoppable. second goal, no obvious mistake by the sens either.

  • MikeS

    finally

  • Jacques

Thank god for Ryan and Turris, yeah Karlsson.

  • MikeS

BORO just woke the team up, LOL

  • aegiszx

Top line of Karl – Turris – Ryan stepping up… LOL

  • hq8

man spezzaaaaa……….come on guy this is your team seize it already damnit

    • SensChirp

      ??

      • hq8

nvm, ignore that comment, that is from he wasnt free. now he is :D.

  • MikeS

Is this the first pp this game?

  • karlssens

This is not Andy’s fault.. He let in two goals on 29 shots.. Jesus

  • Mat

Much better intensity in the 2nd. They’ll tie it up before the end. I’m betting the shitty halloween leftover candy I have…

  • Mat

Conacher looks like a child porn star with that handlebar moustache.

  • MikeS

    yAYAYAYQ

  • MikeS

So boro changed the momentum, then kassian draws the penalty for the tieing goal. LOL

    • http://bftc-ehm.forumotion.com/ argun31

it’s funny but it’s a good thing lol

  • jasonontheoldsenschirp

That’s what happens when Spezz is played with players with SKILL.

  • MikeS

Sens have played 10/40 minutes and are tied, imagine if they played the whole game

  • mr.slapshot

    That Turris I tell ya

    • Mexican Baby Jesus

He is now 14 points in 14 games. That line plays with so much energy and they have the skill to go with it. Macarthur is much better than I expected

  • hq8

i like what i saw in the last 13 minutes of that 2nd period. that looked like the sens hockey we all like.

  • karlssens

Karlsson has 14 pts in 13 games.. Kinda scary. He’s slowly coming back boys.

    • hq8

      slowly? 6 pts in 4 games lol…..

      • karlssens

I’m referencing more his defensive play as well.

    • aegiszx

15 pts in 14 games now… Top 20 in scoring, and leads all D in scoring.

  • mr.slapshot

    Whaaa

  • aegiszx

    Ouch…

  • MikeS

    shoot the dam puck….omg spezza

  • Mike

It is going to suck watching Anaheim pick either Ekblad or Reinhart

  • Jacques

Finally Spezza actually skated on that one!

  • mr.slapshot

    Bobbbyyyyyy

  • MikeS

LOL….i was just gonna comment on how little the sens cared about tieing this up….then spezza just does that

  • Jacques

Good job Spezza, Ryan scores with splinters!

  • MikeS

    #pesky

  • Mike

Wow, I take that comment back for now wow Bobby Ryan what a player Ryan = > Heatly was in Ottawa

  • hq8

ok is it too early to say that the team we all love is back?????? what a comeback

    • MikeS

they finally bring their pesky back :)

  • Mike

    Ugh that’s not good

  • MikeS

Is that not a penalty? he wasnt touched and ran him over

  • MikeS

possible broken neck, the guys not touched and no penalty….WTF

    • xiorcal

Ugly movement of the head backward for sure.

  • Mexican Baby Jesus

SHitty that this all happened from a Spezza turnover

    • xiorcal

Like there is a good moment for this to happen.

      • Mexican Baby Jesus

Well no. But the point is, it would have been avoided

  • Jacques

Thumbs up from Anderson good sign.

  • Jacques

    Ryan is a real Beast.

  • Mike

This team is really unlucky Jesus

  • MikeS

Hate to see andy get hurt, but atleast lehner is usually better in shootouts

  • Jacques

Poor Lehner coming in Cold for a shoot out. He made a couple of. nice saves there in OT.

    • MikeS

I wouldnt really say poor lehner. He is now number 1 guy till andy is back, and assuming he is playing lights out he will probably stay number 1 guy when he gets back

  • Colin

Where the feed Sportsnet? Fuck me!

  • xiorcal

If i’m Dallas I put Boro on my 3 shooters

  • Ozzyhockey

    Great… Leafsnet screws up again.

  • ZibbyFan

    Need stream!!

  • Millennium

    Shawn McKenzie ‏@ShawnMcKenzieSN1m
Craig Anderson just walked by into the Sens room.
    Retweeted by Kevin Lee

  • Jacques

Anderson supposedly OK! One win at home this year. Unacceptable!

  • Michenator

I know we should be happy with one. But I’m not. We need to start getting wins…

  • MikeS

Well atleast the sens showed up to play for the second half of this game, unfortunate loss though

  • Mike

Like I said it is going to suck seeing Anaheim getting a top 3 pick this year at this point, I can’t see them making the playoffs this year they can’t win any games and this loss and the loss of Anderson must have deflated this team even more

    • Jacques

Tookie changed his name to Mike!

      • Ryan

Shitty draft year, who cares Ryan is still better.

  • Mike

If this doesn’t figure out how to win Spezza and Ryan will most likely leave and this team will be screwed the Sens need a new owner and Byran Murray needs to make a trade now

  • beeblebrox

Hope Anderson doesn’t celebrate his near-miss by making chicken for supper tonight…

  • Kielbasa

Brutal performance yet again. And I have to agree with the post below stating that this losing environment the players have created here has become toxic and contagious. Why would talented players like Bobby Ryan or Spezza want to stick around?

And Melnyk, you couldn’t even fill CTC on a Sunday afternoon. A nice Sunday afternoon in November. You have a broken organization that needs fixing. The bottom 6…ineffective. The top 6…only half come out to play 100% every game. And the D…are non-existent. Let Murray do his job. Can the ineffective coaches (not PM). And let him bring in players that will bring some life and energy to this dead team.

Otherwise you will have something to complain about when your attendance numbers are on par with Phoenix.

    • hq8

yeesh. it wasnt that bad in the end. its a 60 minute game. sens played pretty good for atleast 30 max 40.
but yes something does need change. i feel the energy part did come back around midway through the 2nd.
obviously, the defense needs some real work. whether by benching or trade. i think a trade may be too drastic for the sens, they are not as bad as the flyers and are still in the hunt. a benching would go a long way in sending a very stern message and i think if you bench a guy like Cowen or Phillips or Neil at the right time, it could pay dividends. Phillips started the game today and it wasnt a good start. Neil, yes his hit got the energy going but the penalty was unnecessary.

  • Kinger

Yeah it is really gonna suck when PMac gets let go..simply because he didn’t get to chose his own coaching staff (EugeneM) or have the valuable assets to work with on a daily basis because his “Great” boss gets divorced, wife took him to the cleaners and is bitching about how he didn’t get a damned casino and in turn holds the team at ransom. In all honesty the poison starts with the owner.

  • JBL11

Wouldn’t mind seeing Mr. Murray trade for a proven top 4 D-man. It’s probably time to do something to wake the boys up. They are getting closer, but could use a little experience on the back end. Not sure if Coburn is available, but I’d be interested in a guy like that.

    • hq8

Marc Staal, off to a sucky sucky start for the rangers, lets undo that Brian Lee draft decision shall we.

      • JBL11

        Haha…oh god, don’t remind us

  • Floridasensfan

Decent game started a bit ugly
We don;t need any trades, we have lots of talent, they just need to play like the last half of the game, Boro was an upgrade for sure, other than the oops and I think he was passing it to Anderson to cover up, like I said oops.

Brutal conversation on here at times.

  • Mat

Anyone can tell me why Michalek is a shootout shooter?? When are Turris or Mika going to get a shot?? Brutal decisions by Mac.

    • TookieIs100PercentRight

Because MacLean would rather make Movember jokes with the media than look at his shootout results this or last season. Remember, Year 3 of Rebuild! Wooo!

Shootouts are based off practice. They probably would be there if the NHL did 5 rounds like the AHL.

Hope Anderson is ok. We can’t afford to lose Lawson down here for any length of time. And it’s not like Ottawa would open the purse strings to find another vet.

    • Jacques

No kidding Lawson is dynamite, and that poor kid from Bowling Green wouldn’t be able to carry the load.

The question I have is what happened to Marc Methot? He played one 30 second shift in OT and had 5 shifts in the thrid period. I’m starting to wonder why coach Mac insists of putting Phillips on the pp and he keeps Methot on the bench.

    • hq8

yup definitely something puzzling. cowen at 26 minutes while Methot at 17 minutes, even after cowen’s amazing 1st period pinch. who was he paired with tonight anyways? wiercioch or borocop? i think him and boro were together.
hope its not an injury causing minute limitations.
      very very puzzling:
methot played 24 minutes against chicago and was a +1
      then the big re-jig happened
and he played 17 minutes against NYI and was -1

i hope this is not the case, but the streak of bad starts by the sens, the kind of mistakes they are making (mostly defense), the players who are making the mistakes (cowen, phillips, neil) and then the methods the coach or the staff are applying (e.g putting spezz w/neil, phillips with karlsson) tells me that there is somewhat of a disconnect in the sens room between the players and the coach.

this is something definitely worth discussing and finding out somehow as to why Paul Maclean insists on giving big minutes to players who make big mistakes and make them often

Well not the way you want to start a home stretch, 2 loses to teams you should beat! I dont care about the Columbus game but MTL and FLA are must wins!

    • Jacques

Go to bed it’s a school night Tookie. How did the Laughs do last night?

  • Dr Sens

Anyone picking up or has picked up one of those Sens Canadian Forces Jerseys??? Are they nice? Are they worth my 100$. They look bright on the sens store site but looked real good on the boys at the game (on TV)

    • Jason

They are the same color as military cadpat, there is a discount code for 20% off. It is CFSENS.

  • SensFanInMTL

Made the trip to your wonderful city today! Finally great to have some money and time to do so. Tying the game with 9.6 seconds left was a sight to see. I would’ve killed to have been there to witness the win, as everyone else would. The guys are putting up the numbers. We just can’t win games and it’s pretty upsetting.

  • Robert Cyr

After 14 games played, resulting in a record of 4-6-4, for a total of 12 points, out of
possible total of 28 points, we are a dismal 10th place team in Eastern Conference.

If we do not turn this around in month of November, we will be creating a very disappointing collapse, and will be near both Buffalo and Philadelphia, at the bottom
of the Standings. The loss of 5 games in a row, has to end in Columbus with a win !

The line combinations must be set in next few games, and MacLean must stick with
them, to build much needed chemistry. This goes for both the forward lines and the defense pairings.

And last but not least, Lehner needs to play more often, like Budaj does in Montreal
    in relief of Price.

Coach needs to find solution to stability, motivation and execution by the whole team !

    GO SENS GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
