Game Day- Senators Look to Bounce Back in Game 4

The Ottawa Senators learned a valuable lesson in Game 3.

After reeling off three straight wins dating back to Game 6 against the Boston Bruins, the Sens got a bit of a wake-up call on Tuesday night.  The New York Rangers were a clearly desperate hockey team and they outworked the Senators from the moment the puck was dropped.  Plain and simple, they just looked like they wanted it more.

Fans recognized it. The Coaching Staff commented on it. Every player in that dressing room seemed aware of it. Now, they have to fix it.

The Ottawa Senators will look to find another gear, similar to what they showed in the series opener, when they play Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semi-final at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Guy Boucher met with the media yesterday and seemed to hint at a couple potential line up changes ahead of Game 4.

Up front, Tom Pyatt returns.  Zack Smith is a game time decision.  Bobby Ryan left the game on Tuesday night but he’ll play. On the blueline, Chris Wideman draws back in taking the place of Freddy Claesson.

A best guess at the line up based on the morning skate.

Lastly, another call to the comment section lurkers. Drop in with some positive vibes today, even just a Go Sens Go. We need all hands on deck for Game 4.
