BSens Reveal New Jerseys

If you’ve been following a lot of the off-season discussion around the Ottawa Senators, you’ll know that the topic of re-branding has been front and centre.

When new President Tom Anselmi arrived in Ottawa last season, he hinted at the possibility and it’s clear that the organization has been quietly considering a move away from their current logo.

They couldn’t make a change in time for the new Adidas jerseys but there have been steady signs this summer that the team is planning on making a permanent change to their look.

The popular heritage look has been front and centre in a lot of the team’s marketing this summer and it’s featured prominently on their official website. Heck, even Eugene Melnyk is strutting around town with the =O= in tow.

And today, another strong indication that the Senators organization is in the midst of a brand transformation.

The key difference here is that Belleville has switched from the off-white colour to a plain white. The BSens also said that they plan to go with the white jersey on home ice.

And they look amazing.

Seems like =O=nly a matter of time before we see a similar look with the NHL team.
