Coyotes, Officials Edge Sens

For the third straight game on this road trip, the Sens looked flat and struggled to find their legs for large portions of the game.

Reality is the Senators played well enough to grab an important point tonight but had it taken away when Nick Foligno was called for goalie interference on a tying goal by Alfredsson.  The end result was a 3-2 Coyotes win and a disappointing loss heading in the NHL All Star Break.

Game Day- Turris Returns to Phoenix

With the Senators losing back to back games in Anaheim and Los Angeles, the final game before the NHL All Star Break has taken on some extra significance.

The Sens will look to end their short slide and head into the break on a positive note.  The game will also be the first that Kyle Turris has played in Phoenix since a bitter contract dispute and eventual trade to the Ottawa Senators.

Sens Fall in Los Angeles

Not even Craig Anderson could save the Senators in Los Angeles.

The Sens were outplayed for large portions of the game, Kings goaltender Jonathan Quick made big stops when he had to and the home side cruised to 4-1 win.  No time for the Sens to dwell on this loss as they are in Phoenix tomorrow night.
