Thank You

Without overstating it, this really was the best season I have had as a fan of the Ottawa Senators. And while many fans will quickly default to the Stanley Cup run, there was just something about this team that made this lockout shortened season extra special. Cheering for and blogging about the underdog Ottawa Senators team was the most thrilling, unexpected, delightful experience I've had as a sports fan.

Game Day- A Must Win

Written by SensChirp
Win or go home.  It’s that simple.  As for the first time this season, the Ottawa Senators find themselves in a true “must win” game. After a disappointing effort in Game 4 at Scotiabank Place, the Sens look to extend their season in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Semi-final with the Pittsburgh Penguins.  Nobody is giving this team a chance after an ugly loss on Wednesday night and the Pesky Sens wouldn’t have it any other way.

We Aint Dead Yet

Everything that could go wrong for the Senators did in Game 4. Despite being up 2-1 at the end of twenty minutes, you could tell the Senators were playing with fire. If not for the play of Craig Anderson, this game could have been ugly right off the bat.  The good news is, they ain't dead yet.

Game Day- Pittsburgh @ Ottawa Game 4

Written by SensChirp
Every game the Sens play from here on out could appropriately be labelled the biggest game of their season. The Ottawa Senators look to build off an electrifying win on Sunday night as they play Game 4 of their Eastern Conference semifinal series against the Pittsburgh Penguins. After a two day break, the Senators will be looking to use a raucous crowd at Scotiabank Place to draw even before heading back to Pittsburgh for Game 5 on Friday night.
