For the Winnipeg Jets, this certainly has the feel of a “must win” game. They currently trail the eighth place Washington Capitals by six points but with a game in hand. The Senators can expect to see a desperate hockey team in front of a raucous home town crowd at the MTS Centre
And while the Jets season may be on the line tonight, the game obviously has significant playoff ramifications for the Senators as well. With both the Capitals and Sabres just two points back, Ottawa will be looking to give themselves a little bit of breathing room from the teams pushing for the final couple playoff spots.
Bruins 91 (7)- TBL, WSH, @Nyi, @Nyr, PIT, @Ott, BUF
Panthers 87 (7)- @Mtl, @Min, @Clb, @Det, WPG, @Wsh, CAR
Devils 90 (6)- CHI, TBL, @Car, NYI, @Det, OTT
Senators 86 (6)- @Wpg, @Phi, @Nyi, CAR, BOS, @Nj
Capitals 84 (6)- BUF, @Bos, MTL, @Tbl, FLA, @Nyr
Sabres 84 (6)- @Wsh, PIT, @Tor, TOR, @Phi, @Bos
After relieving the injured Ben Bishop on Saturday, Craig Anderson will get the start in the Ottawa goal. No other lineup changes expected for the Senators which means Gilroy, Butler and Konopka will be the healthy scratches.
Greening-Spezza-Michalek
Foligno-Turris-Alfredsson
Daugavins-Smith-Condra
Klinkhammer-O'Brien-Neil
Kuba-Karlsson
Cowen-Gonchar
Phillips-Carkner
Puck drop is scheduled for just after 8:30 PM tonight with the game available on Sportsnet and TVA Sports.
- With Ben Bishop going down with a lower body injury on Saturday night, some fans are pushing for Robin Lehner to be recalled from Binghamton. For now anyway, it does not seem like the Sens plan on making that move. Alex Auld will dress as Anderson’s back up tonight against the Jets. According to Andy Strickland, Bishop is expected to miss at least the next week of action.
- While Jesse Winchester will not play tonight in Winnipeg, Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun suggests there is a chance he could return to the Ottawa line up as early as next Saturday in Philadelphia. It has been a long road back for Winchester but he could definitely help the Sens fourth line and on the penalty kill.
Hopefully Anderson is ready to put in a better effort. Wining this game should end any talk of the Sens missing the playoffs this year.
Looking for a dominant 5-1 victory. GO SENS GO!
As much as I want to see Lehner play; How do you know he was lied to, if you weren't in the room when they spoke to him?
Maybe they just wanted to give him the opportunity to play a few NHL games for experience and for him a chance to show some of his potential...he' s still VERY young.
Bishop did what we needed so far, played solid while Anderson healed.
I want to see Lehner up like everyone else but he is still better served playing games in AHL than sitting the pine here.
Lehner is a phone call away and not getting rust from not playing.
I can assure you, Lehner was in no way lied to. In fact, shortly before Anderson was injured, the organization told Lehner to not expect a call up this year and that he needed to work hard and stay focused if he wanted a shot with the big club.
Obviously that all changed when Anderson went down with a long term injury.
How was Lehner lied to? And how was it blatant?
Line 1 and 2 are producing, as we saw vs Pittsburgh, so we need to build chemistry with remaining bottom 6 players.
Gonna be a very tough battle vs the Jrts, but we should be
able to win this one also !!
GO SENS GO !!!!!!!!!!!
Agreed. And it might help to take the crowd out of it. Or not... apparently the crowd is absolutely INSANE there. I think we could learn something from that.
We may have found our version of Kate Smith.
LOL
The broken record is back.
The East scout has us picking SLATER KOEKKOEK though, who plays D.. big body, aggressive, and plays on the edge .. not sure we need someone who may be a distraction though..
I would love to see another Swede up front to go with Mika and Silfverberg!
Lehner will be THE number one in 2-3 years from now. A few success in the NHL doesn't make a career, remember Mike Brodeur folks? He came here are saved the Sens butt. Where in the NHL is he exactly this year? Lehner is 20 years old and the Sens are just being smart with him.
4 - 2 Ott with empty net
Go SENS Go
Bishop was brought in to replace Anderson (Bishop has been far and away better than Lehner this year in the AHL). Now we go to plan b from the trade. Ride Anderson rest of year, and let Bishop battle Lehner for the job next year
Also happy to see Foligno back on the 2nd line.
Can't wait to see Winchester come back although it will take him a while to get his game back
Sens 5 Jets 2
Sidney Crosby:
15gp, 4g, 21a, 25pts..sure thats understandable by his standards right? Try this:
15gp, +16
Prorate that for a year and he is +87 (ya....)
and this coming from a guy who hates Crosby haha
Not entirely sure what he did that upset Pmac (i do have ideas however), but I'm glad he's back :)
vs washington
vs NYR
vs Pitts
vs Ott
vs Buff
Glad to hear Winchester might to able to return in the next week or two, he definitely gives us some depth on the fourth line.
Also, if the Sens can make it into the playoffs and can get past the first and second round perhaps we could see Regin back in action, mind you not sure if he would be of value with all the games he has missed, but he sure would bring some added skill on the 3rd or 4th line like Winchester.
No updates on his status lately. Certainly sounds like he is done for the year.
While I agree that Foligno on the second line is the right call at the moment, it's interesting to see how the flavor of the month has changed again as Klinker drops to the 4th line.
Greening --> Daugs --> Turris --> O'Brien --> Kinker
I really do like that PM has given these guys the chance to really play for the team throughout the year. In my mind, that's one of the biggest indicators of a rebuilding team - the willingness to try out players in various roles and not become blinded about players fitting into only one role (see previous coaches for this).
In PM we trust. Go Sens Go!!!
Go SENS go!
In the last post some comments about the Hockey pool were made along with prizes. I made this comment in the other post, making it again. Chirp, as you do have two pools going, you should have a playoff pool. Take the top 4 of each pool and make 1 playoff pool with 8 teams. This way each side can battle it out and winner would land whatever prize you feel like awarding.
I would give advantage to Buffalo over Washington the last 6 games.. They have Miller who has basically been unbeatable lately.
Wash is going with Holtby an AHL goalie who has been playing really well however.
Buff & Wash each have to lose 2 of their remaining 6 games and the Sens to be comfortably in win 4 of 6.. which will be tough...
It will be nail biting time this week as the Sens sit and watch Buff & Wash.
Who the hell every made up the schedule is just plain stupid... Be off for 4 days then play 2 games back to back on the weekend. A computer plans that?
Nervous with Auld as backup... If Anderson re-injures his finger.. Sens are sunk with Auld in net..
If Anderson was to get hurt again, then you would see Lehner come up. With limited call ups, they don't want to make the call until they have to.
He cut his hand in the kitchen... with a knife... it's not like a groin injury that might come back. Pretty sure Andy knows not to play with knives again.

Dear,
Toronto Sports Network.
Thanks for your non-existing updates on the Ottawa Senators. It’s not like they’re the only Canadian team making the post-season in the east…
But my boys in true 2011-12 form, come back the next night, and do the unthinkable and beat the Pens!
And all the "without Fleury" talk is silly... Thiessen was 3-0 before that game, and the Pens can beat most teams with a jersy hangin on the back of the net.
Now we cannot have a let down tonight.
Gilroy, cannot make the top 6 on this team, and finally is where he deserves to be, he needs to learn the other half of the ice, if he wants to earn a spot.
Big game with 2 huge points on the line tonight!!!
Go Sens Go!!!!
Suits me just fine, this team has thrived as the underdog all year but flounder when expectations increase. Just more critics to silence.
Go Sens Go!
Don't worry, they've just posted the Anaheim Update:
"The team assigned F Kyle Palmieri to Syracuse (AHL) on Monday. - Team Release"
Obviously more important than the Sens lineup.
There was a press conference where BM detailed it being a more open competition than it was. Simple as that. Interesting how fast you are to jump down my neck though and claim I wasn't in the room, which has nothing to do with it.
Lehner was publicly promised as much of an opportunity as Bishop. Some would say he matched or outperformed Bishop, but either way the decision was obviously pre-meditated that Bishop would be the backup once Anderson returned, and would get the longer run with the starting gig in his absence. Hate all you want, it was a friggin' press conference ... don't need to be in the room to listen to a public interview.
Tsn does have the game preview up, it's just not the main story. http://tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=391420
If there's anything I've learned from watching 2 canadian teams play each other, is that the Spoiler almost always wins.
See Montreal and Toronto for examples....
That is only true because they are still writing the story about Reimer's ingrown toenail, which will soon take the lead story spot.
So who is the spoiler in tonight's game...
Ottawa spoil Winnipeg's chances at the playoffs, or Winnipeg Spoil Ottawas chnaces at progressively clinching a PO spot?
Winnipeg spoiled their own chances with their last 5 games. They have no chance to catch up to anyone anymore.
pro rate his ppg's and he has 138 points in 82 games, where Malkin would be the second best at 115 points over 82 games.
A lot of people say he's not an elite goal scorer but he already won the rocket and last season before his concussion he was on pace for 64 goals.
He'll always have his haters but there's no denying that he is the greatest player in the world. Crosby's number one, Malkin number 2, Stamkos number 3, and then there's everyone else.
That being said, I'm looking forward to upsetting Crosby and the Pens when and if we meet them on our way to the cup finals.
I am neither "jumping down your neck", nor 'hatin' on you...what is this? highschool?
Anyways, not to start a lame war on such a great page, but I remember the press conference you're talking about, but I'm unable to currently find a link to it. I did find Ian talking in regards to it though (and I find him to be a pretty down to earth guy). So here...
http://www.sportsnet.ca/hockey/2012/02/26/mendes_sens_lehner_bishop/
Kind of goes exactly how I felt about it...Murray discussed competition, but not necessarily for this year (I'm pretty sure he was talking more about AHL and next year. Easy to take murray's press conference out of context and I think Ian sums it up pretty well in my opinion.
The only thing wrong with Crosby is his sense of entitlement. From the age of 5 he's never had a ref call anything against him. He gets all the calls and now that he's in the NHL, the RARE time the call doesn't go how he wants it he whines like a little bi-atch.
It's not even entirely his fault. He never learned to play a fair game. He was "the next one" before he could tie his own skates and nobody ever dared treat him like a mere mortal.
The sad thing is he'd probably be a BETTER player if people (refs, opponents, coaches) hadn't always treated him like he was Gretzky 2.0. If he had had to fight his way through checks all his life he'd be even more dangerous in the NHL.
I love to hate Crosby as much as anyone, in all fairness though he's barely had a chance to play the past year, so let's give him the benefit of the doubt and see how the next few weeks unfold, he may have matured a bit.
I loved all three of these guys as players, but they whined as much as, or more, than Crosby...
At least NickG admits it, you would all love him on your team.
Yeah somehow Sidney in red and white is a different guy - love THAT guy!
I never said he whines more than Gretzky or Lemieux. Can't say I recall Stevie Y being that much of a whiner though.
And somehow, maybe because I'd a biased Sens fan, when Sidney petitions the referees on something he looks more like a pouting toddler than Gretzky et al when they were passionate about a call.
That does not appear to be the quotes I am referring to, but even those quotes hint at a more open competition than what it became.
And yes, by making the statement that I wasn't in the room I take that as you jumping down my throat or hating, as so many do when the source isn't known to them. If you consider that highschool so be it, my culture allows adults to use those words too, hopefully yours will too one day without you feeling like you need to look down on the person.
BM sold it as best man wins the job and then stays up when Anderson is back, to be the backup. Truth is Lehner is all we had at first so he started while they got Bishop over here and warmed up to go. Lehner performed great but had a game where the entire team shit the bed against Florida. Bishop came up and played well too, but had glaring holes Lehner did not. The team clearly seemed to play better in front of Lehner, but the plan was always to keep Bishop up and send Lehner back for more seasoning in the AHL, assuming Bishop wasn't Alex Auld levels of bad. To me this says the results did not matter, which doesn't mesh with the press conference.
http://twitter.com/mirtle - David Rundblad is minus-14 in 21 games in the AHL so far. So much for those Calder hopes...
Chirp, I'm not sure what your point is with this statement given I am obviously talking about the post injury press conference when BM is talking about the chances of Lehner vs Bishop going forward. This conversation doesn't occur in a healthy Anderson scenario.
On the 5th of March you (Chirp) posted the following: "This move is not as much about Lehner as it is about giving Bishop a shot. When Murray made the move prior to the deadline, he explained that both Lehner and Bishop would be given a chance to prove themselves."
So again I say, Lehner was lied to. He not only proved himself, he proved to be better imo, and at least proved enough that after Bishop fell apart against the Leafs he should have been given another game or two.
Bishop is way further ahead development wise than Bishop. Lehner will have to work hard to beat out Bishop, they're both the real deal and will both end up playing routinely at the NHL level one day. But I'm not going to play Lehner because of 'promises' that we're made before acquiring one of the best young goalies in the league.
Johne and everyone else, please get the facts straight. This is NOT about promises made to Lehner prior to acquiring Bishop or prior to Anderson's injury. This is about the promises made AFTER Anderson was injured.
I think Bishop is a really good goaltender, but I wanted the Sens to go with the guy who earned it and has more skill, Lehner. I realize why they went the way they have, but that's why BM's press conference is out of line because it created a false hope for Lehner and his supporters.
I've often been criticized for being a BM supporter, especially before this season. I still support him but I feel he is handling this situation with Lehner very poorly. BM knows he wants Lehner in the AHL for x number of years before he'll even give him a sniff of the NHL on a more consistent basis. So just say that and stop acting like it's an open competition.
These are men playing professional sports, there are no promises.
You're acting like they're trading snacks at recess in grade school...
I PROMISE to give you my fruit rollup tomorrow if you give me your Joe Louis today!
C'mon Sensation, you're in LA LA Land.
On a better note,
GO SENS GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOO!!!!!
What's wrong with holding to the promise of an open competition? Not sure why there's all these school references, I don't think you guys are getting how much more frustrating this shit is making it for Lehner.
Let's move on shall we?
May the best man win!
Go Sens Go!!!
Give it up dude! there was no promise made.
BM is quoted as saying it. How ignorant are you!
But if you really believe he was outright lied to I just don't know what to tell you. I'm sure in Murray's opinion Lehner had enough of a chance to prove himself in games and practices while Anderson was out (not to mention Bingo games) and that it was a fair competition.
I mean, what does Murray have to GAIN by lying to Lehner? Or breaking his promise or whatever it is you feel he did? Why on Earth would they "hold Lehner down"??
I get your passion for Lehner and share it even to a point, but I don't see the gross injustice you're talking about.
FREEBIRD !
Damn straight. I know plenty or Wings haters and I have never, ever known anyone, including the haters to call Yzerman a whiner. @boom - you should take that shit back.
I don't think Crosby is any more of a whiner than the average player. He's just in the spot light more than any other player in the game so everything he does is magnified.
Do you remember his rookie year? The guy didn't get any calls going his way. I've never seen a rookie get roughed up and targeted anywhere near as much as Sid did during his first NHL season.
He may get the calls now, but that's because he's earned the respect of his fellow players and the referees by being such a hardworking player and a fearless competitor.
yeah,sure
Yeah I don't recall Yzerman being much of a whiner either but that maybe because I was too young in the late 90's and early 00's to remember such a thing.
I do remember that Stevie Y was my favorite player when I was growing up and still is today. My first ever hockey jersey was a white Yzerman Red Wings jersey and I also own an Yzerman Canada Jersey.
I don't think there's ever been a greater captain in the history of the game, besides Messier, than Yzerman was.
Murray is holding Lehner down to try to reduce Lehner's cockiness and ego. Murray also believes that Lehner requires a long AHL career and backup at the NHL apprenticeship to maximize his potential. I think it's all part of the driving force that makes Lehner great and want him to become an NHL starter while he still has that full drive to improve every game. (Rask definitely no longer has that to the same level he used to)
I'm not saying BM is lying on purpose, more that his actions have translated into creating a lie surrounding what he said in that press conference.
BM wants Lehner to be the future, Lehner thinks the future can be now, BM doesn't think so. He's showing Lehner who's boss and in the end that he wants more AHL experience first, no matter the results at the NHL level right now. BM thinks a long drawn out apprenticeship is what Lehner requires, and on that I completely disagree. Like in Boston, I don't think Rask and Lehner require long apprenticeships to become the great goalies they have the potential to be. But even if this is what Murray wants from Lehner, then he shouldn't be telling Lehner he had a chance in the competition against Bishop, especially not in a press conference.
1) he was hit with a headshot elbow by sedin first
2) i believe it was keith who was targeted by vancouver/torre s? last year was taken out for a number of games allowing van to win out over the hawks in last years playoffs.
so was keith pissed about sedins elbow? yes. did it remind him of last year? yes. did he target sedin vancouver to scorer? not really he was dishing out a payback.
they both should have been suspended in my opinion.
I think that's just the point - until he hit the NHL he did get all the calls. But then in the NHL he realized (or maybe didn't realize) how spoiled he'd been. That's (to me) when he really started whining. He did so as a younger player too but less often.
I think he still gets the odd call (for a guys that strong he sure gets tripped easy) but it's not blatant. But what drives me nuts is when he doesn't get a call that he sometimes does he's like "waaah that's supposed to be a penalty - it was before!" etc.
Given all that I think I trust Murray's opinion over Lehner's own. If Murray really didn't think Lehner had a real chance then yeah it's not great to make like he does - unless he did that simply to see how hard Lehner would push?
Basically I'm fine for some sort of "tough love" as long as Murray's belief is that it will end up giving us a better Lehner in a year or two.
they are waiting until after the season, no distractions going into the stretch. they have some communication and both parties will make a deal for karlsson to stay in ottawa.
Sedin got high with a shoulder, not elbow - not nearly as flagrant.
But I do think they had a chance here to send a message about retaliation and give Sedin one game or a fine and then Keith 5 games. (Keith was clearly looking for vengeance - that elbow was pretty brutal.)
But then again, Sedin got his punishment and then some.
The better question (IMO) is what, if anything, would have happened to Sedin had Keith not retaliated but if the Blackhawks had asked Shanny to look at the initial high shoulder?
Ya, that's good to hear. Playoffs priority #1!
on the other semi final game. i was not aware of this but claesson has joined SAIK (rundblad's former team). ill try to find out more, but i believe he was sent there on a loan. they lost 4-1.
Yup, he just didn't need to go the extra mile of announcing an open competition in the press conference!
Up until Bishop's bad game against the Leafs it was a toss up, but at that point it became obvious it was never a true competition because Lehner was never given another shot. Just call it what it is, Bishop is our backup this year, and Lehner is now 3rd in line, but still the future starter.
Great updates MoeDozer. Thanks a lot for these, much appreciated!
Murray's resume with trust and decision making is best on draft day
Hockey related or on ice decisions not so much .. Ex.
Coaches clouston Hartsberg
Kovalev - wow
Resigning and signing players like Philips Gonchar Zono
Losing Atraiin
Lee for Gilroy on playoff run confident ?
All Murrays decisions are questionable but at the draft table the man makes it happen
Lundqvist said once when asked about Lehner unbelieveably talented and so much untapped potienal ...that's coming from the best goalie in hockey
Lehner is the future but he is 20. Bishop is an asset who needs NHL games to prove his value. Bishop playing now is a higher organizational priority hence his playing more.
All this is how I took what Murray said when they got Bishop and talked about that dynamic.
Is it 8:30 yet?
Long term there is no competition, it's Lehner 100% and Murray has admitted that Lehner is still THE longterm plan.
Me fail English? Unpossible!
Haha that's all you have haha pal your wrong and don't know shit .. Fail on life pal .. Lol victim
Hard to argue the coaching issues but I don't recall a huge uproar when they were hired. Clouston had "earned his spot" in the AHL and Hartsburgh had plenty of options besides Ottawa.
Kovalev was all Melnyk - everyone knows that.
Gonchar too.
Phillips resigning was good for what it was - a pillar to rebuild around.
Is "Zono" Konopka in your language? If so I think he was a good, cheap depth signing.
A-train - that was all about Mrs. Train - trust me on this one.
I'd have kept Lee over Gilroy but it seems Lee was never going to get a spot on our blueline long-term (not sure why but 4-5 coaches can't all be wrong can they?) Gilroy's gone after this year so really it amounts to letting Lee go play.
Not saying every decision Murray has made has turned to gold (not by a long shot) but I think he's considered one of the better long-term planning GMs in the NHL - and not just by Sens fans.
Wow - you sure told me.
Sorry but I find it hard to respect someone with "fail4nail" as a sign-on name who can't compose a comprehensible post.
Try cutting the Prozac in half.
Hahaha really who says that ??
We all know Murray's makes the decision Uncle Euge wanted Kovie and Murray could have said something and didn't ..
Stop excuses again u don't know shit people don't agree with u and you keep going ha
ha brutal
Did you read my entire post? I know Lehner is the long term plan, everyone does.
You owe Murray a huge thanks, he saved your boy from himself!
By the way, I got my Lehnsanity t-shirt in the mail a few days ago. ;) Love it
Good article on Karlsson
they will be!
Nice on the tshirt!
Regarding Lehner, that's the reason you can understand that he was talking about short term, because long term is already a guarantee as you and I agree.
We are playing an important game tonight going down the stretch for playoffs.
You guys are killing me with all this Lehner talk and he is my favorite player after Karlsson.
8:30 can't come fast enough, half hour to go.
Thanks
Love life!!!
he just tweeted that couple minutes ago. hope that concludes the argument for the ignorant ones here that think lehner is being mistreated or "lied to"
stream. may be behind a bit. Sucks i just moved across town and my cable or internet doesn't get hooked up until saturday so I am stuck using my phone
If we had a big guy like Nash boy would we score on the PP
i will pretend like you didnt call one of the strongest forwards in the league as tho he was some skinny featherweight..
side note:
damn i hate how underated pavelec is
I';ll pretend Michalek didnt waste two entries on the PP by trying to deke around 3 guys getting flattened in the process
I'll pretend our PP is a success due to Michalek
thanks.
Typical wasted powerplay, zero intensity and plenty quality chances given up
who has most points this year? oh yeah milan. who is known as a very lazy players, nash. milan can plan defense.
(no way am i saying i want milan over nash or the other way arround) im just defending what is right.
Stats are nothing, Remember cheechoo once had good stats...
Trust me, Michalek wont open the scoring or be a factor in this game like usual
He's had the puck many times already tonight and has easily been pushed off it, resulting in rushes the other way
No high end talent to bury those beauty chances he creates
bahaha
Told you Michalek would have nuttin to do with the important goals
Andy was HUGE in first 20.
Keep it up boys!
that was classic spezz on that assist. you are right
Tookie makes (mostly) rational arguments.
According to NHL stats he got the 2nd assist...his 55th
GREAT PLAY BY THIRD LINE!
Ok NOW you MIGHT see michalek show up and pad his stats
But I doubt it
PLAYOFFS BABY!
You fools, he had a "good game" all year and you are all back on the foligno band wagon
Dude has chris phillips hands
thanks to gilroy, i like carkner in the line up again, for now atleast
You're pathetic
we are not being guided to the light fellas
LOL I think everyone would agree Ottawa has done everything but choke this year, even though ur not using the word properly, fckin retard
AND FUCK WE CAN'T KEEP A LEAD
you were saying?
Yes, because a goaltender puck handling mistake is clearly the coach's fault
Anderson is fuckin costing us the game.
First goal
Let's blocker the puck into the slot
Second goal
Let's play the shot and slide way out of position
Third goal
Wake up.
And Gonchar not covering the guy in front?
Typical soft casual play after we score
wow... take the lead... 2 seconds later... tied again.
Big Rig has been terrific though
Since when are you supposed to cover the opposition's players when you are in possession of the puck? o_O
Oh and suck it phaneuf
Umm what?
I'll add GREAT trolling by ZipZapRap, clutch chirper!
Mind giving it a rest?
I'd really like to see Mac come back with a different line look after goals scored. I would roll with either the first or second line after a goal, and keep Gonch and Cowen off the ice to maintain the momentum. Cus these quick comeback goals are getting just stupid.
Penalties, and goalie errors. Same old story. Beauty three goals though...
it would be soo much sweeter if we won. Spezza's on fire out there watch for a big 3rd period from him or captain clutch aka Alfie.
We are going to win this game! GO SENS GO!!!
Isn't it funny how everyone BUT Michalek scores from spezza's set ups?
As teenagers like me would say
"shutup no one likes u"
1. Michalek
2. Foligno
3. Gonchar
I know what you are thinking "these guys are ALWAYS our 3 stars"
But you know what they say, when you're hot you're hot
Followed Wellwood very well.
Awesome idea! *
NOW COME BACK WITH THE SPEZZA LINE. KEEP THE HEAT PAULSTACHIO!
No problemo...we'r e winning now!!
Are you tookie's sibling?
It's tookies second account he's just coming up with new non funny material
and u know ur a fckin tool when u have nothing positive to say when our team is killing expectations
Tags: zipzaprap, any other motherfucker who has nothing good to say
I come on here to read what true fans are thinking not some wanna be that has no clue what is even going on. shut the f*uck up man. 10 minutes left Go Sens Go!
The proof is in the pudding, it's just not trendy to hate those guys yet
I see thru you clowns, Doesnt matter what points I make you see a name and you thumbs down
This is like a school playground Michalek for MVP BABY!
Who doesn't think Karl deserves the Norris? Gary Bettman.
He'll somehow find a way to screw us over.
He fits well with Daugavins I find. Apart from the turnover that led to the penalty shot those two have been a solid pair.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Quietly having a strong game.
Ageed. I have not seen the Daug play like this ever. But those three guys are gelling and playing well. I also like the decreased time in the fourth line. That needs to be done in a game like this.
#goodcoaching
come on sens pls dont blow this. most important 10 mins of the season. lets go sens
I know people may disagree, but I think Erik Condra is the best role player on this team.
And man is the third line flyin.
side note: if wellwood was a so called penalty shot, how come that wasnt on smith?
So if I am a wannabe that doesnt know what is going on does that mean what I said isnt just ironic and those guys really are the top 3 stars?
wow silly me....
Add lettuce + tomato = perfect burger...
Now i' m hungry
The fourth line didn't see a lot of action tonight. Which is a good thing in an important game like this imo. Plus the Jets don't really have any goons so Neil isn't a necessity, and we've got Carkner in the lineup.
hope he does soon. i tried the same model stick he uses at the nhl fan fair and at the pro hockey life store.. that stick weighs less than the loose change i carry in my pockets.
What a wild game...guess we have found our scoring touch again
LOOK AT THE JETS BENCH FACES HAHAHAHA
Im no troll you fool
Michalek sucks balls, that is his 5th empty netter
he only scores when we are already ahead, if at all
Zero points until the empty netter, i called it at the start of the game
suck it
PS: ALFIE.
Alfie
Karlsson
Michalek - just for ZZRQuoting ZipZapRap:
Correct! You are just another asshole!
It feels effing great to have a true no.1 netminder. He stepped up when it mattered most, and he's leading this team into the first round of the playoffs.
GO SENS GO!
that sincerely reminds me a place close to here... Maybe sens fans have things to learn too...
Suck it Jets fans (and the refs)
Fantastic game.
2 more points baby.
Alfie, Spezza and Nittemanamamai or whatever.
That. Game. Was. Awesome.
lmao hells ya budday!!
WTF? no EK for going +5? sigh... gg though
You do understand these guys are multi-millionai res right?
They don't care about broken sticks.
Yeah it sucks when they break their stick and the shot ends up sucking or they have to leave the zone to get a new one, but if I hear one more redneck bitch about "$300 for a damn stick and it breaks" I will lose. my. shit.
EXACTLY Ottawa fans leave with 10 minutes left on a regular basis winning or losing, this is one area we can't make fun of any other team for.
Hey Wellwood - LEAFS SUCK!
I've been counting and that's 10 broken sticks for Karlsson in the last 3 games. They mentioned the other night that clearly the manufacturer made a bad batch this round and that it's going to take some time to get more that won't break. You have to give it to Karlsson for not freaking out and losing all confidence. He has had to change his game from shooting heavy shots on a regular basis to making sweet passes down low...more that usually anyways.
We missed you.
All joking aside..spezza's dangle, daugs goal, Alfie, karlsson...just too many amazing things happened tonight.
When there's only 30 seconds left, may as well stay. It's not as if there is traffic, it's freaking Winnipeg. The rink is well situated in a small town.
What a game and what a win!
Karlsson ain't playing for the Leafs. Therefore TSN doesn't really care if they butcher his stats...
This is true
