Happy Holidays!

From the drop of the puck last night, you could just tell the Ottawa Senators did not have their A-game.

Coming off an emotional win over the Panthers on home ice, the Sens were forced into a tricky back to back situation. The team actually didn't arrive in Carolina until 3:30 AM on the morning of the game.

Despite looking like a tired group, the Senators were able to hang around and pick up a single point. Obviously that's huge with the East standings as tight as they are. Craig Anderson deserves full marks for his performance against the Hurricanes.

With the holiday break upon them, the Ottawa Senators are holding on to the 8th in the Eastern Conference. The Sens are off until December 27th when they host the Montreal Canadiens.

As the Sens hit a quiet point in the schedule, this seems like a good time to take a couple days off to spend some time with the family. Wanted to wish each of you a very happy holiday season and pass along my sincere thanks for your ongoing support of this site.

Merry Christmas everyone! See you on December 26th!

Happy Holiday's everyone! The Sens gave us a nice Christmas gift by holding down a playoff spot. I can't wait to see what they have in store for the new year.

This has been the most fun I've had as a Sens fan in a long time. We've been given beautiful new jerseys to admire, a very good product on the ice full of youth an enthusiasm. The veterans on the team have really stepped up their games, Spezza, Alfie, Michalek, Gonchar, and Kuba especially. Most importantly we've been given a great coaching staff that they players truly believe in and so do us fans. Hats off to Maclean, Cameron, and Reeds for the great work they've done.

Lots of excitement lies ahead of us too. New scoreboard for Tuesday's game against MTL, all star game and festivities, trade deadline, and hopefully a strong playoff push. I really believe in this organization, and everyone else should too. Since announcing the rebuild just short of a year ago, Murray has really built the foundation for GREATNESS.

Go Sens Go!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all Bingo fans south of the border. The Sens wouldn't be where they are right now without a great Bingo organisation and fan support. I look forward to going down soon to watch a game or two.

Keep it Classy Sens fans !

Stats have shown that 81% of teams who are holding down a playoff spot by christmas actually do make it to the playoffs! Here's hoping were part of that percentage!

Go Sens Go! And Happy Holiday's to all! :)

I thought he played a pretty good game last night. With Michalek set to return on Tuesday this move was expected. I'm sure he'll get the next call up when the time comes.

"And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

And the angel said unto them,

Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men..."

The Lord is Murray, the Shepherd is McLean, and the chosen ones are the players themselves. WE, the fans, are the desciples.

And lo, and behold, the Habs f*cking suck, and I hope ye, and all the believers, come together to cheer on the mighty chosen ones, against the Judas bastards from Montreal.

Dear baby Jesus, I don't just want the playoffs - bring me the effin CUP.

Happy merry merry Sens Fans
